Johannesburg, 5 March, 2010 - Hush Puppies, one of the top casual footwear brands in the world, is opening their fifth store in The Rosebank Mall, Johannesburg, at the end of April 2010. The store, which carries footwear and accessories from the global Hush Puppies ranges, represents a new international retail concept for the brand and follows only three others worldwide with the same format – two in Montreal, Canada and the third in the Philippines.

The new concept store showcases what the brand is all about: a global image incorporating a cool, casual style and comfort that is Hush Puppies. Together as one family, with one voice, the Hush Puppies brand brings a trusted and relevant style, value and comfort to the global consumer.

Both the existing and new concept stores are part of Hush Puppies’ dynamic direct to consumer initiative including expanding company-owned retail locations and a new global website. There are currently over 500 licensed Hush Puppies concept stores and over 700 shop-in-shops in 140 countries around the world. The Rosebank store showcases the brand’s new global retail design, which features an eclectic mix of vintage, natural material and contemporary design.
